Educator Opportunities - Inventure Academy

Across the year, opportunities arise across multiple subjects and sections of the school at our Whitefield-Sarjapur and Yeshwanthpur campuses. We welcome educators who are interested in being part of a collaborative and reflective learning community to share their profiles with us.

What We Look For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant subject area or in Education.
• Prior teaching experience in a school setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their overall development.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
• Experience with Cambridge / IGCSE / IB or other international curricula will be an added advantage for Middle and Senior School roles.

Roles and Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and learning goals.
• Create classroom environments that encourage inquiry, participation, and independent thinking.
• Help students build strong conceptual understanding and subject knowledge.
• Monitor and support student progress through ongoing observation, assessment, and feedback.

Student Development

• Encourage curiosity, discussion, and exploration of ideas.
• Support students in developing analytical, research, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the varied learning needs of students.
• Work with grade teams, learning support teams, and parents to support student growth.

Assessment and Feedback

• Design assessments that reflect learning outcomes and curriculum expectations.
• Provide constructive feedback that helps students improve and take ownership of their learning.
• Participate in collaborative review and moderation of student work where required.

School and Community Contribution

• Participate in department discussions, school initiatives, and parent interactions.
• Maintain accurate records related to lesson planning, attendance, and student progress.
• Contribute to events, projects, and activities that enrich the life of the school community.

Pastoral Care

• Build respectful and positive relationships with students.
• Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support student well-being and escalate concerns appropriately when required.
