Ecommerce Operations Intern

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Intern to support Logistics, Sales, and E-Commerce operations while exploring opportunities to use AI and automation to improve business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with order processing, order confirmations, shipment coordination, and logistics activities.
• Support product information management, PDP creation, product categorization, images, and size/fit guide updates.
• Assist with Shopify, JOOR, returns, international sales, and fulfillment-related activities.
• Maintain accuracy of product, order, and operational data.
• Identify repetitive, manual, or error-prone processes and suggest AI/automation opportunities.
• Use AI tools to assist with data extraction, classification, summarization, drafting, and process documentation.
• Support simple automation workflows using AI tools, Python, or automation platforms.
• Extract structured information from emails, PDFs, invoices, shipping documents, and other unstructured sources.
• Validate AI-generated outputs and ensure appropriate human review and data confidentiality.
• Support process improvement initiatives and help measure benefits such as time saved, error reduction, or improved efficiency.

Required Skills

• Understanding of LLMs, their capabilities and limitations, including hallucinations, privacy, cost, and output verification.
• Hands-on knowledge of prompt engineering for summarization, classification, extraction, and drafting.
• Familiarity with at least one AI/LLM tool such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, or similar.
• Basic Python knowledge for scripting and data handling, including pandas and basic API usage.
• Basic understanding of LLM APIs, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.

AI & Automation Skills

• Exposure to tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, n8n, or Python-based automation.
• Ability to identify potential AI use cases and clearly define the problem, expected benefit, and measurable outcome.
• Awareness of responsible AI practices, including data confidentiality and human-in-theloop validation.
• Interest in keeping up with new AI tools and technologies.
