About this role
ABOUT NABI HEALTH
At Nabi Health, we provide weight-inclusive, trauma-informed care for people navigating eating disorders, disordered eating, and body distress. Our model blends human-first relationships with tech-enabled access and support, helping patients experience care that is relational, collaborative, and never shame-based. We center autonomy, equity, and trust in every interaction.
We're building the outpatient clinical home for the long arc of recovery: a coordinated team of dietitians, therapists, and medical providers who stay with patients over the whole journey.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient medical care to Nabi patients via telehealth. Patient visits run every 4–6 weeks.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Provide initial medical assessments and ongoing follow-up visits via telehealth to patients with eating disorders and co-occurring conditions across the spectrum (AN, BN, BED, ARFID, OSFED, disordered eating, and body image concerns).
-
Order and interpret labs, and act on results.
-
Make medical clearance decisions and conduct refeeding monitoring as clinically indicated.
-
Manage medications within your licensed scope of practice.
-
Care for patients with co-occurring GI and digestive concerns, sleep dysregulation, chronic disease, and neurodivergent presentations.
-
Collaborate directly with Registered Dietitians and therapists on shared patients through coordinated treatment planning, warm handoffs, and biweekly case conferencing. No single discipline owns the care plan here.
-
Escalate clinical-safety, medical-instability, and scope concerns immediately per Nabi's clinical policies, including warm referral when a patient's acuity exceeds outpatient scope.
-
Contribute to Nabi's medical protocols, safety floor, and escalation pathways.
-
Complete clinical documentation in our EMR within 72 hours of each encounter.
WHAT YOU BRING
Required:
-
Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (APRN) license in good standing, with prescriptive authority.
-
Current national board certification (FNP-BC/FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, AGNP, or equivalent) through ANCC or AANP.
-
Willingness to practice under a collaborative practice agreement in states that require one. Nabi arranges and covers collaborating physician coverage.
-
Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience providing eating disorder care.
-
Comfortable practicing via telehealth and documenting in cloud-based EMR systems.
-
Reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
-
Deeply aligned with weight-inclusive, anti-diet, and HAES frameworks, and committed to trauma-informed, equity-centered care.
Preferred:
-
Outpatient eating disorder experience, particularly in a virtual or telehealth outpatient program.
-
Experience at a higher level of care (residential, PHP, IOP).
-
Experience treating adolescents and minors.
-
Experience contributing to clinical protocols, workflows, or training.
-
Comfortable working in a tech-enabled practice and quick to pick up new clinical and collaboration tools.
WHAT WE OFFER
-
Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience.
-
No-show pay. If a confirmed patient doesn't attend, you're paid your hourly rate for the scheduled visit length.
-
Multi-state license reimbursement. When we ask you to pursue additional state licensure, we cover reasonable and documented application and licensing fees.
-
Licensure and collaborating physician costs needed for Nabi patient care will be covered by Nabi.
-
No non-compete. This engagement is non-exclusive and you're free to maintain other clinical work.
-
Biweekly case conferencing and a collaborative, mission-driven team that understands clinician burnout.
