E&I Estimation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced E&I Estimation Engineer responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, MTOs, and technical-commercial proposals for Electrical & Instrumentation scope in Water & Wastewater and EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and scope of work for E&I requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, MTOs, man-hour estimates, and detailed cost break-ups.
• Estimate electrical and instrumentation works including materials, equipment, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Prepare and review proposals in coordination with Engineering, Procurement, Projects, and Commercial teams.
• Evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations and conduct technical-commercial comparisons.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings/site visits and identify project risks, exclusions, and assumptions.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IEC, ISA, IEEE, IS, and NEC standards.

Technical Requirements

• Experience in E&I estimation for Water & Wastewater Treatment / EPC projects.
• Knowledge of MCC, PCC, APFC, PLC panels, transformers, PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Good understanding of electrical distribution, instrumentation, cabling, earthing, and related E&I systems.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor coordination, and technical bid evaluation.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and commercial skills.
