E-commerce Operations Intern

Company Description: MBGStore is a local e-commerce and delivery platform launching in Gaur City, Greater Noida, focused on making everyday and festive shopping more convenient. The platform offers a wide range of products, including stationery, gifting items, aroma candles, soft toys, festive decorations, jewellery, snacks, and more in one place. MBGStore aims to simplify local shopping by providing faster access to frequently used items and seasonal favourites. The company is starting operations in Gaur City and plans to expand gradually based on customer needs and local demand, creating opportunities for learning and growth as the business scales.

Role Description: The E-commerce Operations Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The intern will support daily e-commerce operations, including listing and updating products, monitoring inventory, and ensuring accurate product information on the platform. Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors and internal teams, assisting with order processing and tracking, and helping resolve customer queries in a timely manner. The intern will also contribute to sales and promotional activities, gather and organize operational data, and provide basic analysis to improve efficiency and customer experience. This role offers hands-on exposure to online retail operations and the opportunity to learn how a growing local e-commerce business functions.

• Strong understanding of basic commerce concepts and interest in e-commerce operations.
• Analytical skills to track performance metrics, interpret data, and identify operational improvements.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors, and customers.
• Customer service skills to handle inquiries, support order-related issues, and maintain a positive customer experience.
• Sales awareness and willingness to support promotional activities, product visibility, and upselling opportunities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets and comfort working with online tools and dashboards.
• Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Current student or recent graduate in Commerce, Business, or a related field is preferred; prior internship or part-time experience in retail or e-commerce is a plus.
