Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Ecommerce Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, marketplace reconciliations, GST compliance, vendor payments, and financial reporting. The candidate should have a good understanding of ecommerce transactions, marketplace settlements, and accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries, sales and purchase invoices, expense records, and ledgers in Tally Prime.
• Reconcile sales, settlements, and payouts from Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and other ecommerce platforms.
• Track marketplace commissions, advertising charges, returns, refunds, debit notes, credit notes, and payment discrepancies.
• Handle bank reconciliation, vendor ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, and customer outstanding follow-ups.
• Manage GST reconciliations, Input Tax Credit (ITC) verification, TDS/TCS, e-invoicing, and e-way bills, wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with marketplace teams and vendors to resolve settlement issues, payment delays, and accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory-related accounting records and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for stock reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, platform-wise sales reports, expense statements, and product-wise profitability reports.
• Assist with month-end closing, audit requirements, and timely maintenance of financial records.

Required Skills & Experience

• Good working knowledge of Tally Prime, GST, and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in ecommerce accounting and marketplace settlement reconciliation is preferred.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliation, vendor payments, and accounts receivable/payable.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
