Position: Duty Manager
Company: Starline cinemas

Reporting: cinema manager/ General manager
Location: Madurai (CDR Mall, Anna Salai, Managiri, KK Nagar)

Key responsibilities:

• Manage smooth daily operations of Box Office, F&B/Concession, Ushers, Housekeeping and Security.
• Ensure all movie shows start and finish on time.
• Conduct pre-opening and closing inspections.
• Ensure auditoriums are clean, properly maintained and ready before each show.
• Monitor projection, sound and air-conditioning and immediately escalate technical problems.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Maintain high standards of guest experience and service.
• Allocate duties to staff and monitor their performance.
• Ensure staff maintain grooming, punctuality and discipline.
• Conduct shift briefings.
• Support training of new employees.
• Verify opening/closing cash according to SOP.
• Monitor F&B/concession stock.
• Ensure compliance with fire and safety procedures.
• Prepare daily operational reports.
