Due Diligence Officer

Key Responsibilities:

* Review startup applications, pitch decks, financial statements, legal documents, and supporting information.

* Collect, extract, organize, and verify financial, cap table, debt, compliance, and other startup-related information.

* Assist in preparing Basic Due Diligence Reports covering financial, legal, compliance, and business aspects.

* Identify potential financial, documentation, compliance, and business red flags.

* Perform basic analysis of:

P&L

Balance Sheet

Cash Flow

Receivables & Payables

Ageing Reports

Basic Financial Ratios

* Cross-check information provided by startups against supporting documents and identify discrepancies or information gaps.

* Coordinate with startups to obtain missing documents, supporting information, and clarifications.

* Maintain due diligence trackers, MIS reports, documentation, and records.

* Handle basic accounting activities in Zoho Books, including invoicing, receivables, payables, and bank reconciliation.

* Support monthly GST/TDS-related data preparation and other finance activities as required.

* Assist the finance/investment team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting.

Preferred Skills

* Good understanding of Accounting & Finance fundamentals.

* Working knowledge of Zoho Books.

* Good proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.

* Strong analytical and documentation skills.

* Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.

* Ability to review financial information and identify potential red flags.

* Good written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong coordination and follow-up skills.

* Ability to work with multiple startup/company documents and maintain confidentiality.
