About the role: We're building a modern, accessibility-focused

Drupal 10 website for a global organisation in the non-profit / climate sector, hosted on Pantheon. This is a lean team, so you'll own the

entire backend and site-building layer end-to-end — architecture through to forms, integrations, and deployment. We need a senior engineer who can work independently and make sound technical decisions without hand-holding.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build the full Drupal 10 site: content types (Country, Resource, Article/News, Event, Partner, Basic Page), taxonomies, and entity-reference relationships
• Configure and build with Views (including AJAX exposed filters), Webform, Paragraphs, Metatag, Pathauto, Redirect, Simple XML Sitemap
• Build the

resource library (filterable),

news/blog , and

events section — including private, passcode-protected events

• Build all three forms (two expression-of-interest + newsletter) and integrate the newsletter with

Ortto via webhook; forms → structured email

• Build the JSON/Views data endpoint that feeds the interactive SVG map
• Configure SEO modules, tag-manager / consent (GTM + Osano) integration, and redirects
• Set up and own the Pantheon Dev/Test/Live workflow and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, PHPCS)
• Own code quality, branching strategy, and PR reviews; keep code clean, standard, and handover-ready (no vendor lock-in)

Must-have

• 3+ years Drupal (Drupal 10 essential); strong PHP 8.x
• Deep entity/field API, Views, and Webform expertise
• Composer-based workflow, Git branching, and CI/CD experience
• Pantheon (or Acquia) hosting and deployment
• Proven ability to deliver a full site's backend solo and lead technical decisions
