Drupal Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Drupal-based web applications, including custom modules.
• Design, develop, and integrate secure, scalable REST APIs.
• Collaborate with the Apigee team to support API connectivity and integrations.
• Support the SwaggerHub team in API design, OpenAPI Specification (OAS) documentation, and versioning.
• Manage Drupal security updates and patches using Composer.
• Develop clean, maintainable, object-oriented PHP code following PSR-4 standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Analyze business and technical requirements, deliver prioritized features, and conduct application testing.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups, and communicate progress to Product Owners.
• Take ownership of project deliverables and engineering quality.
• Maintain accurate timesheets with detailed work notes and ensure availability during normal business hours.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Drupal core, site building, and custom module development.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in object-oriented PHP development.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Apigee API Gateway and Apigee Developer Portal, including starter modules.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure DevOps (ADO) CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Docker containerization and building images for Azure Container Registry (ACR).
• Hands-on experience with SwaggerHub and OpenAPI Specification (OAS).
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and Composer dependency management.
• Proficiency in Git for source control and collaborative development.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with Symfony, Laravel, or CodeIgniter is an advantage.
• Exposure to React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
