Drupal Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Drupal-based websites and web applications.
• Develop custom Drupal modules, themes, components, and integrations.
• Work with Drupal versions 8/9/10/11, preferably with experience in upgrades and migrations.
• Develop responsive and reusable front-end components using Twig, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Work extensively with Drupal APIs, Entity API, Views, Configuration Management, Hooks, Services and Dependency Injection.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, JSON:API and third-party applications/services.
• Perform Drupal site migrations, upgrades, configuration changes, and troubleshooting.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, security, and accessibility.
• Work with databases, particularly MySQL, including queries, optimization, and data migration.
• Use Git, Composer and Drush for development, version control, dependency management, and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA, DevOps, Product Managers, and other development teams.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, estimation, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support for existing Drupal applications.
• Follow coding standards, security best practices, documentation standards, and SDLC processes.

Mandatory Skills

• 58 years of professional Drupal development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Drupal 8/9/10/11
• Strong PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills
• Experience in custom Drupal module and theme development
• Strong knowledge of Drupal Core APIs, Hooks, Entities, Views and Configuration Management
• Good knowledge of Twig, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
• Experience with MySQL / relational databases
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs / JSON:API / third-party integrations
• Experience with Git
• Good understanding of Composer and Drush
• Experience with Drupal migration, upgrades, troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Good understanding of responsive web development
