Drone Pilot UAV LiDAR & Survey Operations

Position: Drone Pilot / UAV Pilot
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of professional drone flying experience.
• Hands-on experience operating DJI Matrice 350 RTK (M350) and DJI Matrice 400 (M400).
• Experience in LiDAR, mapping, surveying, photogrammetry, or geophysical survey operations will be preferred.
• Good understanding of RTK/PPK, flight planning, terrain following, and survey missions.
• Experience in operating drones in challenging field conditions and remote locations.
• Knowledge of DGCA regulations, drone safety procedures, pre-flight/post-flight checks, and flight documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with surveyors, LiDAR operators, geophysicists, and field teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively to project sites across India.
  

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute UAV survey missions as per approved flight plans.
• Safely operate DJI M350 and M400 platforms and associated payloads.
• Conduct UAV LiDAR, photogrammetry and other specialized drone survey missions.
• Monitor flight parameters, GNSS/RTK status, battery, payload and mission progress.
• Maintain flight logs, equipment records and field documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and aviation safety requirements.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of UAV systems.
