Drilling Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• bachelors degree in Drilling or Petroleum Engineering.
• minimum of 10 - 13 years of relevant experience
• Coordinating with the subsurface group to understand the subsurface requirements and drilling hazards before initiating the well design process.
• Coordinating with the completion and production groups to align the drilling schedule with the overall project delivery requirements.
• Reviewing the basis of well design and the supporting simulations (casing design, hydraulics, T&D, etc.).
• Identifying and deploying new drilling technologies to mitigate or remedy foreseeable drilling problems.
