About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman with hands-on experience in AutoCAD and Railway Projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings for railway and infrastructure projects in coordination with engineers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD for railway and civil infrastructure projects.
• Prepare plans, layouts, sections, elevations, and detailed construction drawings as per project requirements.
• Modify drawings based on engineering instructions, site conditions, and design changes.
• Prepare drawings based on approved designs, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Civil Engineers, Design Engineers, Project Managers, and site teams for drawing requirements.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, levels, details, and compliance with project specifications.
• Incorporate corrections and revisions in drawings as instructed by engineers and consultants.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site execution.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and drawing submissions.
• Ensure drawings are prepared and issued within project timelines.
• Coordinate with site teams to clarify drawing-related technical requirements.
• Assist engineers in preparing quantity-related drawings and documentation when required.
• Ensure proper naming, numbering, filing, and version control of drawings.
• Follow company and project-specific drawing standards and procedures.
• Support project teams during inspections and technical discussions whenever required.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Good understanding of technical and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of civil/railway infrastructure drawings.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and details.
• Good knowledge of dimensions, levels, alignment, and drawing standards.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple drawing requirements.
• Knowledge of MS Office will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work at Pan India project locations.

Qualification

Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Draughtsman.
• Railway project experience is mandatory.
• Candidates with hands-on experience in preparing railway/civil infrastructure drawings will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience as a Draughtsman, with mandatory Railway Project experience and strong hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD. The candidate should be capable of preparing accurate technical and construction drawings and coordinating effectively with engineering and site teams.
