Draughtsman - Mechanical For Projects - Davangere

Role & responsibilities

The Mechanical Draughtsman is responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining accurate 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, layouts, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and project documentation for manufacturing plant projects, machinery, equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.

The role involves close coordination with Project Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Production, Maintenance, Fabrication, Procurement, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, and external vendors to ensure drawings are technically accurate, practical for fabrication/installation, and delivered as per project schedules.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma / ITI / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, CAD/CAM, or related discipline.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be preferred.

Typical experience: 26 years in mechanical drafting/design, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, machinery, or project environment.

Experience in plant projects, machinery installation, production-line projects, automation projects, or equipment fabrication will be an advantage.
