Drama Teacher

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging theatre and drama classes for students.
• Teach acting techniques, voice modulation, stage movement, and improvisation.
• Develop scripts and prepare students for school plays, skits, and cultural events.
• Organize rehearsals and guide students in stage performances.
• Encourage creativity, self-expression, and confidence among students.
• Coordinate with teachers and school management for annual functions and events.
• Maintain discipline and ensure a safe learning environment during rehearsals.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Performing Arts, Drama, or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of teaching or theatre experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of acting, stagecraft, and theatre production.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for working with children and nurturing their creative talents.
