About this role
- We are looking for an experienced Draftsman Mechanic for casting marking and pattern-related drawing activities in our steel foundry at Kagal, Kolhapur.
- The candidate will be responsible for preparing and interpreting casting layouts, marking drawings and production drawings as per customer drawings and foundry requirements.
- The role includes understanding casting allowances, machining allowances, dimensions, parting lines, core locations and other foundry requirements, and coordinating with Methods, Pattern Shop, Production and Quality teams.
- The candidate should be able to accurately read engineering drawings and convert design requirements into practical casting marking/layout information.
