Draftsman - Factory Engineering

Role & responsibilities

Prepare, revise and maintain accurate factory engineering drawings under the direction of the Factory Engineering team. The role supports development of factory GA drawings, equipment/workstation layouts, material-flow drawings and utility-routing layouts, ensuring drawings remain coordinated and current throughout project execution.

• Prepare and update Factory General Arrangement (GA) and detailed layouts 2D and 3D.
• Develop equipment and workstation layout drawings based on approved engineering inputs.
• Prepare material-flow and utility-routing drawings.
• Incorporate design revisions and maintain drawing revision control.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on verified site information and approved changes.
• Coordinate drawing inputs with engineers, project teams and equipment vendors.
• Maintain drawing registers, file structures and controlled engineering documentation.
• Support layout updates arising from equipment changes, process improvements and site conditions.
• Ensure drawing dimensions, annotations, layers and title-block information are clear and consistent.
