Draftsman - CATIA Plastics Engineering

Role & Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5.
• Design and develop plastic components as per customer and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings with GD&T and manufacturing specifications.
• Support product development activities from concept to design release.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for design changes and engineering updates.
• Ensure design feasibility considering injection molding and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain design documentation and adhere to company quality standards.
• Participate in design reviews and implement corrective actions as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 4-5 years of experience in CATIA Plastic Design/Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly, Drafting).
• Mandatory experience in the Plastics Industry.
• Good understanding of plastic component design, injection molding, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, and design standards.
• Experience in automotive interior/exterior plastic components will be preferred.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period preferred.
