We are looking for a skilled and motivated ASP.NET Developer to join our ESOP Insider Law division. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using the .NET / ASP.NET framework, along with a good understanding of databases, APIs, and software development practices. The role will involve working on client-facing projects, understanding business requirements, developing scalable solutions, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality applications.
Location: New Delhi
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Asp.net / .NET .
- Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API , and related technologies.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Work with relational databases such as MS SQL Server and write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and database operations.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and performance-related problems.
- Develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and scalable code.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding and development standards.
- Perform unit testing and support application testing and deployment.
- Work on application enhancements, maintenance, and new feature development.
- Understand client requirements and contribute to timely delivery of projects.
- Maintain technical documentation wherever required.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in the .NET ecosystem.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in ASP.NET / .NET development.
- Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core.
- Good knowledge of MVC architecture and Web API.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic frontend development concepts.
- Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server and relational database concepts.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and API integration.
- Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
Good to Have
- Experience with .NET 6/7/8 or later versions.
- Knowledge of Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.
- Familiarity with Angular, React, or other modern frontend frameworks.
- Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Understanding of CI/CD and deployment processes.
- Experience working on client-facing software projects.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
