DOT NET Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Design, implement, and debug high-performance C# applications and backend services.
• Develop responsive web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Build and support Windows Services used in telemetry and industrial automation systems.
• Work with asynchronous programming, multithreading, dependency injection, and memory management to develop efficient and reliable applications.
• Design and integrate REST APIs and implement secure communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries, with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Integrate third-party .NET libraries, frameworks, and toolkits.
• Implement application diagnostics, structured logging, monitoring, and exception handling.
• Troubleshoot application, database, performance, and production issues through systematic debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Follow secure coding practices and implement appropriate application security measures.
• Create MSI-based installers and support application deployment and configuration.
• Collaborate with team members using Azure DevOps and participate in code reviews, requirement gathering, design discussions, and test planning.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and test plans.

Required Skills and Experience

1. C# and .NET Development

• Strong development experience in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, interfaces, abstract classes, and design patterns.
• Experience with asynchronous programming using async/await, Task-based programming, and multithreading.
• Understanding of thread safety, synchronization, dependency injection, memory management, and resource disposal.
• Ability to write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.

2. Angular Development

• Hands-on experience developing web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Understanding of Angular components, data binding, dependency injection, and lifecycle hooks.
• Experience with RxJS, Observables, reactive forms, and HTTP communication.
• Understanding of Angular change detection and application performance optimization.
• Experience integrating Angular applications with REST APIs.

3. Backend and Database Development

• Experience developing and debugging server-side applications and REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including joins, indexes, stored procedures, transactions, and query optimization.
• Experience with data access technologies such as Entity Framework or Dapper.
• Understanding of API authentication, authorization, JWT, and secure coding practices.

4. Windows and System Knowledge

• Experience developing, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows Services.
• Hands-on experience with MSI installation packages and application deployment.
• Familiarity with Windows Event Viewer, system logs, environment variables, process monitoring, and remote access.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, IP addresses, ports, firewalls, HTTP/HTTPS, and SSL/TLS.

5. Logging, Diagnostics, and Troubleshooting

• Experience implementing application logging using frameworks such as Serilog, NLog, or log4net.
• Understanding of structured logging, exception handling, application monitoring, and health checks.
• Ability to investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes.
• Understanding of performance troubleshooting, memory usage, and application reliability.

6. DevOps and Collaboration

• Experience with version control and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts, build pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, participate in code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing software for industrial automation, SCADA, telemetry, or Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols.
• Familiarity with background processing, hosted services, and long-running applications.
• Experience troubleshooting applications deployed in customer or production environments.
