Dot Net Developer Lead

Experience bar:

Min. 8 years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role

Proven delivery track record; experience managing and mentoring engineering teams

Technical areas to assess:

.NET / C# proficiency

FDD and Kanban methodology depth

Serverless AWS cloud platforms

SDLC tooling — Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence

DORA / SPACE metrics — experience using these to drive team productivity

CI/CD pipeline ownership and implementation

Leadership areas to assess:

People management — 1:1s, performance reviews, coaching

Translating business strategy into engineering priorities

Stakeholder communication, including to non-technical audiences

Data-driven decision-making on delivery metrics

Quality assurance culture — coding standards, testing protocols, continuous improvement

Change management — introducing new tools, processes, or methodologies to a team

Key behaviors to probe:

How do they handle underperformance while maintaining team morale?

How do they balance technical debt against feature delivery under pressure?
