The purpose of the role is to raise awareness about the organization to people over telephone and inspire them to contribute funds and become financial supporters
Responsibilities
- Make calls and explain about the cause to members of the public by operating telephone equipment, automatic dialing systems, and other telecommunications technologies.
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly performance targets
- Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of calls made and results achieved.
- Ensure confidentiality of information pertaining to the Organization.
- Record details of opportunities and lead notes.
- Be a good team player and a gender sensitive co-worker
- Any other role related responsibility assigned by your line manager
Skills and competencies
- Minimum 1 year of experience in tele fundraising. Fresher s with good interpersonal and communication skills shall also be considered.
- Be a good team player and a gender sensitive co-worker.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, both in English and any regional language.
Desired profile of the candidate
- Any graduates or 10+2 with or without nonprofit fundraising experience.
- Strong attention to detail, relationship building skills and good telephone manners/ etiquette
