About this role
* Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, bills of entry, certificates of origin, and other required documents.
* Maintain proper records of all import and export shipments.
* Ensure compliance with applicable import and export laws, customs regulations, and foreign trade requirements.
* Keep updated with changes in import/export policies, customs procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Coordinate with shipping lines and freight forwarders for export and import shipments.
* Follow up with shipping lines regarding amendments, documentation, delays, rollovers, and container-related issues.
* Maintain shipment-wise records of containers, invoices, BL numbers, ETD, ETA, and clearance status
