Documentation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Engineering Documentation

• Maintain organized records of engineering drawings, revisions, and related technical documents.
• Prepare, compile, and update project-related technical documentation.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, and document tracking records.
• Follow company procedures for document numbering, revision control, and filing.

2. Mechanical Drafting & CAD Design

• Create detailed 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
• Convert engineering concepts, sketches, and design inputs into accurate technical drawings.
• Prepare part drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and manufacturing drawings.

3. Project & Departmental Support

• Assist the Engineering and Project teams with drawing and documentation requirements.
• Prepare drawings required for fabrication, procurement, installation, and project execution.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely completion of assigned work.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate should have good knowledge of AutoCad.
• Mechanical engineers shall be preferred.
