Education Qualifications (Required / Desirable): Required:
M.Tech in Illumination Technology Design or equivalent.
B.Tech in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Electronics Engineering.
Preferred:
Specialization in Lighting Engineering, Illumination Design, or Energy Systems.
Expertise in Lighting Design Principles and Photometry.
Proficiency in DIALux Evo and DIALux 4.13.
Hands-on experience in AutoCAD.
Knowledge of Electrical Distribution Systems and Lighting Controls.
Understanding of National International Lighting Standards (IS, IEC, CIE, EN Standards).
BOQ preparation, tender documentation, and technical specifications.
Energy-efficient and sustainable lighting solutions.
Installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting practices.
Project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
Lighting Design Engineering
Develop lighting designs for indoor, outdoor, industrial, fa ade, roadway, and sports applications.
Perform illumination calculations and simulations using DIALux Evo and DIALux 4.13.
Prepare lighting layouts, lux calculations, utilization reports, and compliance reports.
Ensure compliance with national and international lighting standards.
Optimize lighting solutions for energy efficiency, visual comfort, and project cost-effectiveness.
Electrical Design
Design and review electrical systems, power distribution, and lighting control systems.
Prepare electrical schematics, SLDs, wiring layouts, and AutoCAD drawings.
Perform equipment selection and technical evaluation.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Project Management Coordination
Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, datasheets, and tender documents.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Monitor project schedules, risks, budgets, and deliverables.
Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
Technical Development
Evaluate emerging technologies and sustainable lighting solutions.
Support RD initiatives for product and system enhancement.
Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior team members.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Authorities
Recommend lighting products and technical solutions.
Approve lighting calculations and design submissions within delegated authority.
Coordinate with vendors and consultants for technical clarifications.
Recommend improvements in design methodologies and engineering practices.
