Divisional Manager - Pre-Owned Car Loans - Vijayawada

Role

To drive business growth and market share in the Used Car Loans business by managing dealer relationships, sales teams, portfolio quality, and branch operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and processes.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Expansion

• Drive Pre-Owned Car Loan business growth across the assigned territory.
• Increase market share through improved penetration in existing dealerships and activation of non-active dealers.
• Identify business opportunities and develop strategies to expand dealer and channel coverage.
• Conduct opportunity loss analysis and implement corrective action plans.
• Ensure achievement of business targets and profitability objectives.

Dealer Relationship Management

• Build and strengthen relationships with dealer principals, sales teams, and dealership managers.
• Ensure smooth functioning and operational efficiency at dealer locations.
• Support dealers with product knowledge, process guidance, and business development initiatives.
• Maintain existing market share and improve business contribution from key dealer accounts.

Team Leadership & Staff Management

• Lead, mentor, and motivate executives and sales teams to achieve business goals.
• Monitor daily work management, productivity metrics, and MQW parameters.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
• Educate team members on company policies, procedures, products, and sales techniques.
• Drive employee engagement and maintain high team morale.

Portfolio & Risk Management

• Ensure portfolio quality in line with company guidelines.
• Monitor fraud vigilance activities and strengthen risk controls.
• Ensure adherence to KYC, compliance, and credit policies.
• Maintain portfolio performance and renewal of key customer accounts.
• Drive collections and portfolio health management as per business requirements.

Sales Planning & Operations

• Plan, execute, and monitor business strategies to ensure target achievement.
• Track sales performance and implement corrective actions wherever required.
• Ensure continuous adherence to business plans and operational processes.
• Present company products and services effectively to clients and channel partners.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for seamless business operations.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain operational discipline and process adherence across the division.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure risk mitigation.

Preferred candidate profile

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8-12 years of experience in Car Loans, Used Car Loans, Vehicle Finance, or Retail Asset Sales.
• Strong network within new and used car dealership ecosystem.
• Proven track record in business development, dealer management, and team leadership.
• Sound understanding of portfolio management, credit processes, and risk controls.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead large sales teams and manage business performance across multiple locations.
