Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dispatch Manager role based in Dera Bassi. The Dispatch Manager will oversee daily dispatch operations, including planning loads, scheduling vehicles, coordinating with production and warehouse teams, and ensuring on-time deliveries to multiple regions. The role includes supervising dispatch staff, monitoring order status, optimizing routes and vehicle utilization, and maintaining accurate dispatch records and documentation. The Dispatch Manager will communicate regularly with customers, transporters, and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery issues, manage complaints, and ensure service quality. The position also involves tracking KPIs, enforcing safety and quality standards, and continuously improving dispatch processes to support operational efficiency and cost control.
Qualifications
- Strong operations management and dispatching skills, including route planning, load scheduling, and coordination with logistics partners.
- Proven supervisory skills to lead, train, and motivate dispatch and support staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients, transporters, and internal teams.
- Ability to use basic logistics/ERP or dispatch software, MS Excel, and other digital tools for tracking, reporting, and documentation.
- Solid understanding of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations; experience in packaging or related industries is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
