Disel Mechanic

1Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators, engines, fuel systems, and related equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of generators, fuel tanks, pumps, batteries, cooling systems, and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and fuel-related issues in diesel-powered equipment.
• Execute generator load bank testing and emergency power system testing.
• Monitor generator performance and maintain maintenance records and reports.
• Support emergency response activities during power outages and equipment failures.
• Ensure adequate fuel levels and proper fuel quality management.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for major repairs and maintenance activities.
• Follow safety procedures, environmental regulations, and data center operational standards.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and recommend replacement of worn components.
• Participate in shift work, on-call duties, and emergency support when required.

Preferred candidate profile:-

1.Experience working in Data Centers, Critical Facilities, Commercial Buildings, Manufacturing Plants, Hospitals, or Industrial Facilities.

2.Good knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems, and generator controls.
