Director, Statutory Audit -India practice - Bangalore , Mumbai , Delhi

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Audit to lead our audit team. As the Director of Audit, you will be responsible for overseeing all auditing activities within the organization to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. You will also be responsible for providing strategic guidance and developing audit plans to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the audit team to conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits.
• Develop audit plans and strategies to identify risks and opportunities for process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Review audit findings and present recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations.
• Mentor and develop audit team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Charted Accountant.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in audit.
• Demonstrated experience in leading audit teams and managing complex audit projects.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
