Director, Operations

The Director, Operations Enterprise Systems is a senior leadership role responsible for the systems and processes that run Bounteous at scale. This position owns the enterprise platforms that connect sales, resource management, delivery, and finance serving as the operational backbone for a complex, global professional services firm. Based in India and operating with a global mandate, this leader will serve as the authoritative voice on operational systems architecture, data governance, and process efficiency for the organization. The role carries significant executive exposure and requires a leader who operates equally well in strategic planning conversations and deep system design sessions.

What You'll Do

Enterprise Systems Ownership

• Own and govern the core operational platforms that underpin Bounteouss business including enterprise CRM and professional services automation (PSA) tools (Salesforce, NetSuite OpenAir)- covering configuration, integrations, data integrity, and system health
• Ensure these platforms function as a single source of truth across sales pipeline, project bookings, resource utilization, time tracking, and financial reporting
• Maintain and continuously improve integrations between systems so that data flows accurately and in real time across functions and regions
• Own the systems roadmap: translate business objectives into platform requirements and phased improvement plans

Process Efficiency & Automation:

• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that eliminate manual work, reduce errors, and streamline cross-functional handoffs
• Drive automation across Operations from inter-team workflows to reporting pipelines to improve data quality and reduce operational friction at scale
• Establish and enforce governance frameworks for data changes, system configuration, and process standards Strategic Advisory

Strategic Advisory & Executive Engagement:

• Act as a strategic advisor to Operations and executive leadership on systems, tooling, and operational infrastructure decisions
• Evaluate new platforms, integrations, and technology changes with a rigorous businesscase lens
• Participate in global Operations leadership forums and governance committees; represent the Enterprise Systems function at the leadership table
• Maintain a global view of how system and process changes cascade across business units and regions

Team Leadership:

• Lead, develop, and set the direction for a team of systems administrators, technical specialists, and operations analysts
• Build organizational capability in operational systems including documentation, training, and knowledge management practices that scale across the organization
• Manage team priorities against a complex, multi-region stakeholder landscape

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Work closely with Finance, People/HR, Delivery, and Sales to align system capabilities with each functions operational needs
• Serve as an internal systems consultant: translate functional requirements into system design, data flows, and implementation plans Collaborate with peer Operations leaders (Resource Management, Operations Enablement) to ensure systems, reporting, and processes remain aligned to shared operational goals

What Were Looking For Required

• 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise systems, operations leadership, or a closely related field; 5+ years in a director-level or senior leadership capacity
• Demonstrated ownership of enterprise CRM and/or PSA platforms at scale — direct experience with Salesforce and/or NetSuite OpenAir strongly preferred
• Proven track record driving process improvement and automation initiatives in complex, cross-functional, multi-geography environments – Strong data governance and systems integration expertise able to design and oversee integrations between disparate enterprise platforms Executive-level communication skills: fluent translating technical concepts for business audiences and business requirements for technical teams
