Role: Director of Engineering – Product & Platform

We are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to lead technical strategy, product engineering, and high-scale platform development in a fast-growing, product-led technology organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy, architecture, and engineering roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Partner with Product, Design, Security, and Business teams to drive measurable outcomes.
• Lead large engineering teams and develop Engineering Managers and senior technical leaders.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on ownership, innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Drive scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable software platforms.
• Oversee engineering delivery, resource planning, performance management, and talent development.
• Establish strong practices around governance, risk, security, privacy, and compliance.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve product capabilities and engineering efficiency.

Required Experience

• 15–20+ years of total software engineering experience.
• Strong experience in a SaaS .
• Strong Backend OR Data Engineering background.
• Strong expertise in Java / Scala / Golang
• Strong Microservices and distributed systems architecture experience.
• Proven experience managing 30+ people.
• Strong engineering leadership and people-management experience.
• Experience building and scaling an engineering team from scratch is a major plus.
• Strong experience working in a product-led, high-growth environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to connect technology initiatives to business outcomes.
