About a minute. You'll make an account on the way through.

    About this role

As Director of Business Operations, you will work directly with the Founder and CEO to translate strategy into execution, ensuring the company operates with speed, discipline, and clarity. You'll own cross-functional initiatives, establish operating rhythms, drive enterprise engagements, and help shape how Equinash presents itself to customers, partners, investors, and the broader market. You will become the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customers, and Leadership, making sure the company moves as one team. If you enjoy solving ambiguous business problems, wearing multiple hats, and building systems from scratch, you'll thrive in this role.

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

    Company Operations and Execution:

    • Own the company's operational cadence and execution framework.
    • Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Business.
    • Build scalable internal processes as Equinash grows.
    • Lead strategic initiatives on behalf of the Founder.

    Founder Office:

    • Act as a trusted execution partner to the Founder.
    • Translate strategic priorities into measurable outcomes.
    • Own high-impact projects spanning multiple functions.
    • Ensure organisational priorities remain aligned and on track.

    Enterprise Customer Success:

    • Lead enterprise proposal development, RFPs, RFIs, and commercial documentation.
    • Coordinate enterprise customer onboarding and account management.
    • Support strategic customer conversations and executive engagements.
    • Build long-term customer relationships that create trust and expansion opportunities.

    Business Growth and GTM:

    • Support enterprise go-to-market initiatives until dedicated commercial teams are established.
    • Help define customer messaging, positioning, and value articulation.
    • Collaborate with Product and Marketing to ensure consistent market positioning.
    • Identify opportunities to improve commercial effectiveness and customer experience.

    Finance, HR and Business Operations:

    • Coordinate finance, budgeting, vendor management, and business administration.
    • Help establish scalable hiring, onboarding, and people operations.
    • Drive organisational effectiveness as the company scales.
    • Build processes that improve visibility, accountability, and execution.

    Strategic Communications:

    • Review and refine company narratives, executive presentations, proposals, and strategic communications.
    • Help ensure Equinash consistently communicates a clear, credible, and compelling story across customers, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with Marketing to strengthen thought leadership and brand positioning.

    What Success Looks Like:

Within your first year, you will have:

    • Established a high-performing operating cadence across the company.
    • Significantly increased Founder leverage by taking ownership of day-to-day business execution.
    • Built repeatable systems for enterprise proposals, customer management, finance, and internal operations.
    • Improved execution velocity across teams through better coordination and accountability.
    • Helped elevate Equinash's enterprise presence through stronger customer engagement and business storytelling.
    • Become one of the key leaders shaping how Equinash operates as it scales globally.

    Requirements:

    • We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity and thrives in fast-moving environments.
    • You'll likely have experience in consulting, strategy, enterprise technology, business operations, customer advisory, or product marketing, with the ability to move comfortably between executive strategy and hands-on execution.
    • You should be comfortable working directly with senior leadership, managing enterprise customer interactions, driving cross-functional initiatives, and solving problems that don't have predefined playbooks.
    • Most importantly, you're someone who naturally takes ownership, builds trust across teams, and enjoys creating systems that help organisations scale.
    • Experience/Understanding of Supply Chain Management, Procurement Planning and related fields.
