Director - Fulfillment Center Operations - Hyderabad

Job Summary

Delhivery is looking for an experienced operations leader to head Fulfillment Center (FC) Operations, drive operational excellence, improve productivity, optimize costs and ensure seamless end-to-end fulfillment. The role requires strong expertise in large-scale warehouse operations, supply chain management, inventory control, process improvement and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end fulfillment center operations, including inbound, receiving, put-away, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, dispatch and returns.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, throughput, order accuracy, service quality and overall efficiency.
• Drive operational excellence through process standardization, automation, technology adoption and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage operational budgets, cost optimization, resource utilization and productivity targets to achieve business objectives.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including fulfillment accuracy, inventory accuracy, turnaround time, throughput, SLA adherence and cost per shipment.
• Lead large operations teams, build leadership capability and drive a performance-oriented culture across fulfillment centers.
• Drive capacity planning, manpower planning, infrastructure utilization and peak-season readiness in line with business volumes.
• Collaborate with transportation, linehaul, first-mile, last-mile, technology, planning and customer experience teams to ensure seamless end-to-end operations.
• Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS), data analytics and automation to improve operational visibility and decision-making.
• Ensure adherence to operational SOPs, safety standards, statutory requirements and audit processes.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead facility expansion, operational transformation and scalable process implementation to support business growth.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience managing large-scale fulfillment or warehouse operations, preferably across multiple facilities or locations.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse processes, inventory management, order fulfillment and distribution operations.
• Demonstrated success in improving operational KPIs, productivity, service levels and cost efficiency.
• Experience in budget management, capacity planning, resource optimization and operational governance.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and develop senior operational leaders.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with warehouse management systems, operational dashboards and process improvement methodologies.
