Director - Finance/Mergers & Acquisition

We're looking for a strategic finance leader who can execute deals, lead the entire finance function, and turn financial insights into business growth.

Director of Finance & Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A):

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia | Full-time

The opportunity:

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board and investors, you will lead finance operations, evaluate and execute acquisitions, strengthen financial performance, and build the financial systems and controls needed to support the company's ambition to pursue a US IPO or listing within the next three years.

What you'll lead:

- M&A execution: Identify acquisition targets, build valuation models, lead financial due diligence and negotiations, structure deals, and oversee post-acquisition integration.

- Finance leadership: Manage accounting, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, liquidity, working capital, and financial controls.

- Saudi compliance: Oversee applicable IFRS reporting, Zakat, tax, e-invoicing, regulatory requirements, and external audits.

- Investor relations and fundraising: Prepare Board and investor reports, financial presentations, forecasts, and fundraising materials.

- Growth and profitability: Evaluate investments and expansion opportunities, improve margins, and develop financial strategies.

- Finance automation and AI: Implement automation, dashboards, reporting workflows, and AI-supported processes with appropriate controls.

- US IPO and listing readiness: Assess reporting, governance, and internal control gaps; coordinate with auditors and advisers on SEC requirements, Nasdaq/NYSE listing pathways, and applicable PCAOB audit requirements.

What we're looking for:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

- 8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years leading a finance function or equivalent.

- Proven involvement in at least one completed M&A transaction, with hands-on experience in valuation, due diligence, and execution.

- Practical knowledge of Saudi accounting, Zakat, tax, compliance, and audit requirements.

- Strong financial modelling, valuation, forecasting, and analytical skills.

- Experience with investor reporting, fundraising support, and finance automation.

- Fluency in Arabic and English.

- CPA, ACCA, CMA, SOCPA, or equivalent qualifications are preferred; CFA is an additional advantage. Experience in a high-growth business, IPO readiness, or US listing projects is also desirable.
