The next phase of growth requires transforming data from a reporting asset into a competitive advantage. We are looking for a leader who can combine business acumen, analytics, AI, and data science to improve decision-making, unlock new growth opportunities, automate workflows, and drive measurable business outcomes. This role will work closely with the leadership team to build an AI-first decision intelligence function that powers every major business decision across growth, operations, supply, partnerships, product, and finance.
What You'll Own Business & Growth Analytics
- Own the analytics agenda across the business
- Identify opportunities to improve acquisition, conversion, retention, monetization, and operational efficiency
- Drive deep analysis of student journeys, booking funnels, cancellations, partner performance, and revenue drivers
- Partner with leadership on growth strategy, market expansion, and resource allocation decisions
- Build frameworks for measuring business performance across countries, destinations, universities, and partner segments
AI & Decision Intelligence
- Define and execute Amber's AI roadmap across analytics
- Build AI-powered decision support systems that proactively identify opportunities and risks
- Develop AI copilots and self-serve intelligence tools for business teams
- Leverage LLMs, agentic workflows, and modern AI tooling to automate analysis and decision-making processes
- Partner with business leaders to redesign workflows using AI
Revenue & Commercial Intelligence
- Drive pricing, commission, profitability, and revenue optimization initiatives
- Analyze marketplace dynamics
Analytics Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing analytics, data science, and AI team
- Create a culture of hypothesis-driven and AI-enabled decision making
- Mentor analysts, data scientists, and analytics managers
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Partnerships teams
What We're Looking For Experience
- 10+ years of experience across Analytics, Data Science, Growth Analytics, Revenue Analytics, AI, or related fields
- Experience leading analytics and data teams in high-growth internet, marketplace, travel, e-commerce
- Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes through analytics and data initiatives
- Experience partnering directly with founders, executives, or business leaders
AI & Data Expertise
- Strong understanding of modern AI ecosystems including LLMs, AI agents, RAG architectures, and workflow automation
- Experience deploying AI-driven solutions into business processes
- Familiarity with modern AI and data tooling ecosystems
- Experience building predictive models and operationalizing data science initiatives
- Strong understanding of experimentation and model evaluation frameworks
Technical Skills
- Advanced SQL
- Strong Python or equivalent analytical programming expertise
- Strong statistical and analytical foundations
- Experience with modern data warehouses and analytics infrastructure
- Experience with BI platforms and self-serve analytics ecosystems
Leadership Skills
- Ability to connect business strategy with data and AI capabilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience scaling teams and building organizational capabilities
- Exceptional structured problem-solving ability
