Role Description The Direct Sales Leader role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Ernakulam, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The role involves leading and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales targets for HDFC Life's insurance products, including protection, savings, investment, and retirement solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention. The Direct Sales Leader will coach and train team members, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback to enhance productivity and service quality. The role also requires collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies, accurate documentation, and alignment with overall business objectives.
Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain financial products clearly and build trust with diverse customers and team members.
• Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on delivering responsive support and maintaining long-term relationships.
• Proven Sales experience, preferably in insurance or financial services, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Training and team development skills, including coaching, mentoring, and conducting product and sales capability sessions.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or financial services are an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing field operations in Ernakulam and remote activities as required.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in basic digital tools and CRM systems.
• High level of integrity, adherence to regulatory and company guidelines, and commitment to inclusive, customer-centric practices.
