Candidate Profile

We are looking at fresh Diploma graduates / early-career candidates from:

• Mechanical
• Electrical
• Mechatronics

The candidates should demonstrate strong technical aptitude, willingness to learn, interest in manufacturing and shop-floor operations, and good communication, teamwork and problem-solving capabilities. Willingness to undergo an extended training program in Pune will be an essential requirement.

Role & responsibilities

The selected candidates will undergo a structured training and hands-on development program in Pune for approximately 1.5 years, covering:

• Manufacturing and assembly processes
• Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance
• Equipment troubleshooting and breakdown management
• Quality, Safety and Operational Excellence
• Shop-floor systems and problem-solving
• Continuous Improvement and advanced manufacturing practices

Following the training, this group will form the pioneering batch of Operating Engineers for the Chennai Greenfield project. They will play a key role in establishing shop-floor processes, supporting plant ramp-up and subsequently transferring their knowledge and capabilities to future employees joining the Chennai operation.
