As one of the leading energy providers worldwide, Chevron is involved in the production of crude oil and natural gas, manufacturing of transportation fuels, lubricants, petrochemicals, and additives, and the development of enabling technologies.

With a clear purpose to develop affordable, reliable, ever-cleaner energy that enables human progress, we believe human ingenuity has the power to solve any challenge and overcome any obstacle. Meeting the world s growing energy needs requires the pursuit of innovations and advancements that deliver a better future for all.
About the position: Chevron ENGINE is seeking a Digital, social media and Communications Advisor to lead social media, digital marketing and campaign performance across organic and paid channels.
This role is responsible for driving end-to-end digital strategy, execution and optimization, while also creating high-quality, visually strong content. It sits at the core of Chevron ENGINE s efforts to build brand visibility, talent attraction and stakeholder credibility.
The role requires a balanced skill set across strategy, performance marketing, internal communications and hands-on content creation. It will work closely with internal communications, HR, media and public affairs teams.
Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, and work hours are aligned to business needs. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday. These may evolve based on operational or business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Digital Strategy Campaign Leadership
- Own and drive Chevron ENGINEs digital and social media strategy.
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns across organic and paid channels aligned to talent acquisition, employer branding, thought leadership and brand positioning.
- Translate business priorities into structured digital communication plans.
- 2. Paid Media Performance Marketing
- Manage always-on and campaign-based paid social programs.
- Drive targeting, audience segmentation and budget optimization.
- Track and improve campaign performance metrics, including engagement, click-through rates, cost per conversion, and application volumes and quality.
- Continuously optimize campaigns using data and insights.
- 3. Organic Social Platform Management
- Lead organic social presence across platforms, primarily LinkedIn.
- Maintain a consistent, high-quality content cadence.
- Build credibility and engagement through storytelling, leadership visibility and culture narratives.
- 4. Content Creative Execution (Hands-on)
- Create high-quality, engaging digital content across formats.
- Use Canva as a primary tool for day-to-day content creation.
- Develop clean, polished, brand-consistent visuals suitable for leadership visibility.
- Apply strong visual judgment and storytelling to simplify complex business narratives.
- 5. Internal Communications
- Support employee communications, including leadership messages, organizational announcements, campaigns, newsletters, town halls and culture storytelling.
- Develop and edit clear, audience-appropriate content for internal channels, translating complex business, technology and organizational topics into accessible communications.
- Create polished, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, briefing materials and visual narratives.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure alignment across internal, digital and social channels.
- 6. Brand, Governance Risk Management
- Ensure all digital activity adheres to Chevron brand and governance standards.
- Maintain consistency, quality and risk awareness across all channels.
- 7. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal communications, talent acquisition and HR, media and external communications, and government and public affairs, as required.
- Support integrated campaigns linked to announcements, events and stakeholder engagement.
Skills Experience
Primary Requirements (Must-Have)
- Strong experience in digital marketing and social media, including organic and paid campaigns.
- Proven ability to develop strategy, execute campaigns and drive measurable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of performance marketing and campaign analytics.
- Hands-on expertise in Canva for content creation. Proficiency in other graphic design applications would be valuable.
- Strong visual storytelling capability, with the ability to create clean, polished, leadership-ready content.
- Excellent comprehension, writing, editing and content-development skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate communications.
- Experience supporting internal communications, employee engagement and culture-focused campaigns.
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation-development skills, including the ability to create executive-ready presentations, briefing materials and visual narratives.
- Experience managing high-volume, always-on digital pipelines.
- Experience managing external agencies and delivery partners, including briefing, content review, performance management, quality control and timely execution against agreed objectives and timelines.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Experience working in an MNC or similarly complex, multi-stakeholder environment, with the ability to operate within structured governance frameworks and align with global brand and communication standards.
Secondary Requirements (Good to Have)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Exposure to media, PR and government/public affairs.
- Experience in GCC, technology, engineering or innovation-led organizations.
Important Note
This role combines digital strategy, performance marketing, internal communications and hands-on content creation. It requires strong creative judgment but is not a specialist graphic design role.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a digital strategist and communicator who can execute, not just plan. They will:
- Be comfortable owning strategy, performance and execution end-to-end.
- Have a strong understanding of what drives digital performance, not just content creation.
- Bring strong writing, comprehension and creative judgment, with the ability to produce high-quality content independently.
- Create clear, well-structured and visually effective presentations for leadership and stakeholder audiences.
- Be a self-starter who operates with speed, ownership and accountability.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
