Position Summary
This role combines business engagement, product prioritization, and agile delivery ownership where the candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and implementation partners, ensuring value-driven delivery aligned with enterprise roadmap and digital strategy.
Job Specification
1. Product Ownership & Strategy
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for D365 F&O-based solutions
- Define and maintain product vision, roadmap, and value realization goals
- Prioritize features and backlog based on business value, ROI, and strategic alignment
- Act as the voice of the customer/business stakeholders
2.. Business Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business leaders (Finance, Retail, Supply Chain) to identify opportunities
- Drive workshops, requirement discussions, and solution validation sessions
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on priorities and delivery timelines
3. Agile Delivery & Sprint Management
- Own and manage product backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions
- Ensure timely delivery of sprints with focus on quality, velocity, and business value
- Work closely with Scrum Masters, developers, and QA teams
4 Retail Accounting Expertise
- Provide subject matter expertise on:
- Retail financial flows (invoices, ledgers, sales, returns, discounts, promotions)
- Revenue recognition and reconciliation
- Inventory and cost accounting
- Store-level financial operations
- Ensure D365 solutions align with retail accounting standards and compliance
Key Responsibilities & Competencies Required
Product & Agile Skills
- Product ownership / product management roles
- Backlog management and prioritization
- User story definition and acceptance criteria
- Roadmap planning and release management
- Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, SAFe)
- Ability to translate business requirements for technology teams and stay involved in every phase of delivery
Functional Skills
- Finance & Accounting processes
- Retail Accounting and POS integration flows
- Supply Chain and Order-to-Cash processes
Soft Skills
- Executive stakeholder communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to operate in global, cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance / Supply Chain / Solution Architect)
- Experience in Retail industry transformation programs specializing in accounting
- Exposure to AI-driven insights / analytics within ERP
- Experience in multi-country / global rollouts
