Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Product Lead to own the end-to-end digital customer experience for Vehicle Finance products across Two-Wheeler (2W), Passenger Vehicle (PV) and other vehicle financing journeys.

The role will be responsible for defining the digital product vision, designing best-in-class customer journeys, driving Salesforce LOS transformation initiatives, implementing AI-led customer experiences, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes. The incumbent will act as the single point of ownership for product roadmap execution, governance, compliance adherence, stakeholder management, and delivery excellence across the Vehicle Finance ecosystem.

This is a leadership role requiring strong product management capabilities, deep understanding of vehicle finance processes, experience in Salesforce implementations, and the ability to manage large-scale transformation programs involving business, technology, operations, credit, risk, compliance, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Product & Customer Experience

• Define and own the digital product roadmap, and customer experience for Vehicle Finance products
• Design and continuously enhance customer journeys across sourcing, onboarding, credit underwriting, approval, disbursement, servicing, collections, and renewals
• Drive customer-centric journey transformation using data-driven decision making and journey analytics
• Conduct regular competition benchmarking and market scans to identify emerging trends, innovations, and best practices
• Identify opportunities for simplification, digitization, automation, and straight-through processing
• Champion AI-led experiences, GenAI use cases, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and conversational experiences across customer and operational journeys
• Define product success metrics and KPIs including conversion, turnaround time, drop-offs, customer satisfaction, productivity, and adoption

Product Delivery & Salesforce Transformation

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Vehicle Finance digital initiatives on LOS/CRM platforms
• Own product requirements, business cases, feature prioritization, and roadmap execution
• Translate business requirements into scalable product solutions and user stories
• Drive implementation of Vehicle Finance journeys
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high-quality solution design and implementation
• Manage product releases from conception through production deployment

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of: Product Managers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance (QA) Teams and Vendor Delivery Teams
• Establish a high-performance product culture with strong execution discipline
• Drive agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage team objectives, development plans, productivity, and performance outcomes

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the central coordination point across stakeholders from: Information Technology, Business, Operations, Support, Compliance, Risk, Credit, Analytics and External Vendors
• Drive alignment between business priorities and technology execution
• Influence senior stakeholders and obtain consensus on key decisions
• Present product updates, risks, investment cases, and governance reports to leadership teams

Governance & Steering Committee Management

• Run Steering Committees, Program Governance Forums, Executive Reviews, and Product Councils
• Define and track program objectives, milestones, KPIs, dependencies, and risks
• Establish governance frameworks for monitoring delivery, operational readiness, and business outcomes
• Ensure transparent reporting of project progress, issues, and escalations
• Drive timely resolution of cross-functional dependencies and blockers

Risk, Compliance & Audit Management

• Own product compliance requirements and regulatory alignment across the product lifecycle
• Ensure adherence to banking, lending, audit, information security, and data privacy standards
• Maintain proper documentation, audit trails, control frameworks, and governance processes
• Track regulatory changes and assess their impact on product journeys
• Drive closure of audit observations, compliance requirements, and control gaps

Program & Release Management

• Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, bottlenecks, and delivery challenges
• Develop program plans, release schedules, and implementation roadmaps
• Own release governance and go-live readiness processes
• Oversee SIT, UAT, production validation, and deployment activities
• Ensure timely defect resolution and post-production stabilization
• Monitor user adoption and business performance after deployment
• Drive continuous optimization and product enhancement initiatives

Transformation & Innovation

• Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives focusing on:
• Process automation
• API-led integrations
• AI and GenAI solutions
• Digital onboarding enhancements
• Analytics-driven decisioning
• Cross-sell and upsell enablement
• Process re-engineering
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and business productivity.

Functional & Domain Skills

• Deep understanding of Vehicle Finance processes and lending lifecycle.
• Strong expertise in: Vehicle Loans, Auto Finance, Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Credit & Risk workflows, Lending Operations
• Strong understanding of underwriting journeys, decisioning processes, approval matrices, and compliance requirements

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce implementations
• Strong understanding of:
• Salesforce objects and data model
• Workflow automation
• APIs and integrations
• Security and user management

Program Management Skills

• Proven experience managing large transformation programs and cross-functional teams.
• Strong project planning, governance, and risk management capabilities.
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong execution focus with demonstrated delivery outcomes.

Experience & Qualification

Mandatory

• 7+ years of overall experience in Product Management, Digital Transformation, or Program Management
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Vehicle Finance / Auto Finance domain
• Proven experience delivering Salesforce-based LOS/CRM transformations
• Experience managing large cross-functional and vendor teams
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration, or related discipline

Preferred

• MBA from a reputed institution
• Salesforce LOS / CRM transformation programs
• Exposure to AI/GenAI-powered transformation initiatives
• Vendor management and SI engagement
