Role Overview
We are looking for a DPA & DVA Engineer to support ATP products using virtual build and dimensional variation simulation to assess assembly feasibility, dimensional variation, fit, function and appearance before physical builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Digital Pre-Assembly (DPA) feasibility checks for fitment, assembly sequence, accessibility, clearance, interference and installation/removal.
- Conduct static and dynamic clash checks for parts, tools, fixtures, fasteners and the surrounding vehicle environment.
- Perform virtual ergonomic checks covering operator reach, hand clearance, line of sight, posture, tool accessibility and assembly/service feasibility.
- Interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and review datum schemes; identify Critical-to-Function (CTF) and Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) characteristics.
- Perform dimensional stack-up and Monte Carlo/statistical variation analysis to predict gap, flushness and fit outcomes.
