What youll do

• Develop strategies for a cost-effective delivery of reliable and scalable systems.
• Assess existing implementations, identify gaps and suggest improvements.
• Provide a unified strategy for transformation governance, automation, security, implementation and operations.
• Analyze existing application and IT services portfolios, develop assets migration, transformation and automation approach, craft implementation roadmaps.
• Create thought leadership on solutions.
• Communicate ideas clearly in written and diagram form.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to other team members.

What experience you need

• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, cloud-native batch projects
• Hands-on experience with Java backend applications including Spring Boot framework.
• Hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, Node.js (and/or similar frameworks)
• Hands-on experience with the following GCP services: GKE, CloudSQL, Bigtable, Dataflow (Apache Beam), Composer (Apache Airflow), Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Dataprep, BigQuery, KMS
• Hands-on experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
• Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Github Actions)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Outstanding personal initiative and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines and efficiently multitask

What could set you apart

• 8+ years of progressive experience within Information Technology
• 2+ years of proven GCP experience
• 5+ years of hands on Java development experience including the ability to test coding, find errors, and make corrections to provide quality code (SpringBoot)
• Google certifications

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services
• Scala development experience
• Experience with BigData
• Strong understanding or a keen interest in Machine Learning
• Familiarity with the following GCP services: Cloud Data Studio, Looker
