About this role
- The Digital Health & AI Specialist will provide technical expertise and advisory support to the Govt in planning, implementing and strengthening digital health initiatives, health information systems and artificial intelligence-enabled solutions.
- The role will focus on leveraging digital technologies, data interoperability and responsible AI to improve health service delivery, programme monitoring, data-driven decision-making and health system performance.
- Identify opportunities to apply artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics and other emerging technologies to address public health and health system challenges.
- Provide technical inputs on systems integration, data , interoperability and secure data exchange, including applicable standards such as HL7 FHIR and relevant health terminology standards, where appropriate.
- Support the development and implementation of appropriate data governance frameworks, access controls, data management protocols and information-sharing arrangements.
