Die Maintenance Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities 

Monitor Die Maintenance Activities by planning and adhere to General Service, Preventive and Routine Maintenance Schedule for responsible Dies to maintain Die condition and readiness.

Reduce/Control Die Breakdown Activities by attending breakdowns promptly, guiding the team in troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions to minimise breakdown hours.

Participate during Die Breakdown Analysis and Elimination through 3W1H, Root Cause Analysis and structured problem-solving to reduce repetitive Die breakdowns.

Monitor Die Performance and Life through Daily Shots Monitoring, Die Life tracking and analysis of breakdown-related losses to improve Die reliability.

Maintain Critical Die Spares by monitoring Core Pins, Loose Pieces and other critical Spares and following up with Suppliers for timely availability.

Coordinate with the team for Die Planning and Die Readiness and facilitating pre-loading activity by using predefined check sheets and coordinating Die requirements for Production.

Handle Die Availability Improvement – Breakdown Reduction and Cost Savings Projects through QCC, CF and Kaizen.
