Role Summary :

The DGM - Product Quality (work location - Hosur ) will lead end-to-end manufacturing quality across all production lines, ensuring process discipline, product conformity, audit compliance, and continuous improvement. The role is responsible for driving defect prevention, reducing COPQ, strengthening quality systems, and building a quality-first culture across shop-floor operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead manufacturing quality strategy and governance aligned with plant objectives.
• Drive adherence to PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, process controls, and quality standards.
• Lead problem-solving strategy through QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) methodology, ensuring rapid containment, root cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions.
• Drive defect prevention, non-conformance management, and reduction of recurring failures.
• Monitor recurring defects and implement systemic preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with WMS, IMS, IRIS, and internal quality management systems.
• Lead process, product, and system audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Govern FAI, PDI, Quality Wall, inspection, testing, and product release processes.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and COPQ reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, PPC, SCM, and Operations teams to embed quality into all processes.
• Lead and develop the manufacturing quality team while building a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Exercise authority to stop production in the event of critical quality or process risks.
