DGM Procurement | BESS

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to lead procurement activities for the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) business, ensuring cost optimization, quality, timely delivery, and strategic vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement for BESS projects, including batteries, PCS, BMS, EMS, and associated electrical equipment.
• Develop procurement strategies, vendor networks, and sourcing plans.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard domestic and international vendors.
• Manage RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, purchase orders, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure timely material availability, cost control, and compliance with procurement policies.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, finance, and supply chain teams.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and procurement risks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; MBA in Supply Chain/Operations preferred.
• Relevant experience in procurement, preferably within BESS, energy storage, renewable energy, power, or electrical equipment.
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
