BASIC QUALIFICATION : -

• Mandatory:B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science / IT /Electronics / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication or equivalent / M Sc (Statistics/Computer Science)/MA (Statistics)/M Stat /MCA from recognized University/ Institution.
• Preferred:MBA / PGDM or equivalent with specialization in financeAny certification in ML /AI/Natural Language Processing, web Crawling and Neural Networks.

WORK EXPERIENCE : -

• Mandatory: Minimum 10+ years experience in the Banking/BFSI/ Information Technology sector, of which at least 2+ years must be in a senior leadership role involving data engineering, AI/ML application development, MLOps/AI Ops, enterprise integration and technology transformation.The senior leadership experience (2+ years) must include:Working with multiple stakeholders across Business, Operations, Risk, IT, Information Security, Data, Analytics and AI functions.Leading a sizeable team of data engineers, application developers, ML engineers, platform engineers, DevOps/MLOps professionals or solution architects. Experience solely in an individual-contributor role shall not count towards the required two years of senior leadership experience.Leading the design, development, deployment and operation of enterprise-scale data pipelines, AI/ML applications, APIs and model-serving platforms.Leading production operations covering availability, performance, capacity, security, incident management, change management and disaster recovery.Experience in some of the following areas (Business Domain):Enterprise data platforms and analytical applicationsReal-time and batch data processingAI/ML model application development and integrationMLOps, LLMOps and AI platform operationsCustomer-facing or employee-facing digital applicationsRisk, fraud, compliance, operations or marketing analyticsHigh-volume transaction and event-processing systemsTechnology vendor and systems-integrator management
• Preferred:Experience in Scheduled Commercial Banks, /BFSI is preferred.Experience in delivering data and AI platforms at enterprise scale, including secure integration with core banking and other critical systems, shall be preferred.Training & Teaching experience will not be counted for eligibility.Note: Candidates are required to produce up-to-date and full Experience Certificate, unambiguously indicating:(i) Nature of duties,(ii) Dates and duration of experience,(iii) Level / position,(iv) Responsibilities etc. issued by the employer(s).However, if the candidate is unable to submit an Experience Certificate on the lines indicated above, any document unambiguously indicating the experience, nature of duties and the period claimed may be submitted and it would be considered on merit at the discretion of the Bank and the decision of the Bank shall be final.

Detail description of Job Profile, Role, Responsibilities, and Functions : -

• Job Profile:Lead the Banks data engineering, model application development and AI Ops function and establish an enterprise roadmap for scalable, secure and reliable data and AI delivery.Lead the design, development and operation of enterprise data pipelines, AI/ML applications, model-serving services, APIs and reusable platform capabilities.Coordinate with GITC and relevant technology teamsEstablish standards for data pipelines, application development, APIs, MLOps, LLMOps, DevSecOps, testing, documentation and release management.Integrate analytical models and AI applications into core banking, digital channels and operational workflows through enterprise data, API and event-streaming platforms.Establish automated deployment, monitoring, rollback, recalibration and retirement processes for AI/ML models and generative or agentic AI applications.Ensure high availability, scalability, security, resilience and performance of production applications, pipelines and AI platforms.Implement observability and service-management processes covering availability, latency, throughput, data quality, model performance, incidents, capacity and cost utilisation.Lead performance optimisation, capacity planning, GPU and compute utilisation, disaster recovery and business-continuity readiness.Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, information-security, data-privacy, model-governance, audit and regulatory requirements.Manage technology vendors, systems integrators and platform providers, including delivery quality, service levels, security obligations and knowledge transfer.Collaborate with Data Science, Information Security and IT teams to prioritise and deliver high-value data and AI use cases.Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, application developers, ML engineers, platform engineers, DevOps/MLOps professionals and solution architects.Drive standardisation, reuse, automation and continuous improvement across the Banks data engineering and AI application ecosystem.
• KRAs:Coordinate with GITC for deployment of AI applicationsManage infrastructure for AI development and deployment (e.g., data lakes,compute resources).Ensure reliability and scalability of AI applications.Oversee integration with existing systems.Maintain application performance.Oversee data collection, processing, and storage.Lead deployment of AI models to address business problems.Coordinate with data scientists and engineers.
• Annual CTC Upper Range In Lakhs : - Upper range - Rs. 120.00 Lacs
• Fixed Term Employment Period : - 3 Years. May be renewed for further period of 02 years at the discretion of Bank at mutually agreed terms and conditions (Total engagement period should not exceed 05 years).
• Place of Posting : - Mumbai or anywhere in India, in case of any administrative requirement..

GUIDELINES FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION : -

• Candidates will be required to register themselves online through the link available on SBI website https://sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings and pay the application fee using Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ UPI etc.
• Candidates should first scan their latest photograph and signature. Online application will not be registered unless candidate uploads his/ her photo and signature as specified on the online registration page (under How to Upload Document).
• Candidates should fill the application carefully. Once application is filled-in completely, candidate should submit the same. In the event of candidate not being able to fill the application in one go, he can save the information already entered. When the information/ application is saved, a provisional registration number and password is generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the registration number and password. They can re-open the saved application using registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed. This facility for editing the saved information will be available for three times only. Once the application is completely filled, candidate should submit the same and proceed for online payment of fee.
• After registering online, the candidates are advised to take a printout of the system generated online application form.
• Candidates seeking Age relaxation are required to submit copies of necessary certificates at the time of document verification. No change in category of any candidate is permitted after registration of online application.

GUIDELINES FOR PAYMENT OF FEES : -

• Application fees and Intimation Charges (Non-refundable) is Rs. 750/- ( Seven Hundred Fifty only) for General/EWS/OBC candidates and no fees/intimation charges for SC/ ST /PwBD candidates.
• After ensuring correctness of the particulars in the application form, candidates are required to pay the fees through payment gateway integrated with the application. No change/ edit in the application will be allowed thereafter.
• Fee payment will have to be made online through payment gateway available thereat. The payment can be made by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking/ UPI etc. by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.
• On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form, bearing the date of submission by the candidate, will be generated which should be printed and retained by the candidate.
• If the online payment of fee is not successfully completed in first instance, please make fresh attempts to make online payment.
• A provision is there to reprint the e-Receipt and Application form containing fee details, at later stage.
• Application Fee once paid will NOT be refunded on any account NOR can it be adjusted for any other examination or selection in future.
