DevSecops Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced

DevSecOps Engineer with strong expertise in

Linux, Kubernetes, and Python . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building secure, scalable, and automated cloud-native infrastructure while integrating security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Advanced experience with

Linux administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Advanced experience with

Kubernetes deployment, administration, security, and cluster management.

• Strong proficiency in

Python for automation, scripting, and infrastructure management.

• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices across CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git. Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Develop Python scripts to automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based servers and applications.
• Integrate security tools into the software development lifecycle, including vulnerability scanning, container security, and compliance checks.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code to automate infrastructure deployment and configuration.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize platform performance.
• Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to improve platform reliability and security.
• Enforce security best practices, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Document infrastructure, automation processes, and operational procedures. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with container security tools such as Trivy, Aqua Security, Prisma Cloud, or Sysdig.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security, RBAC, network policies, and service mesh.
• Experience with secrets management tools such as HashiCorp Vault or cloud-native secret managers.
• Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKS, RHCE, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Azure DevOps Engineer are a plus.
