Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated DevOps Intern who is eager to build hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern DevOps practices. You will work closely with senior DevOps engineers to support cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation while learning industry best practices.
This role is ideal for someone early in their DevOps journey who is passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and system reliability .
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) .
- Support the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines .
- Help with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting infrastructure issues .
- Assist in writing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Work with containers and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes .
- Help automate routine operational tasks using shell scripting or Python .
- Support deployment activities and environment configuration.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reliable and scalable deployments .
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of DevOps concepts and practices .
- Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably AWS) .
- Familiarity with Linux systems and command-line operations .
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) .
- Exposure to Docker or containerization concepts .
- Basic scripting knowledge in Bash or Python .
- Understanding of Git and version control workflows .
Good to Have:
- Exposure to Kubernetes .
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Load Balancers, Security Groups) .
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch .
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform .
